About Me
Peter’s career began in residential construction and its associated trades in 1978, which shortly led into management positions at building supply stores in Northern, BC, Canada. In September 1994, Peter and his wife decided to move to Kelowna, BC to embark on new business endeavors. Soon after he became the District Sales Manager for Nelson Homes, and within a year moved into the export market for engineered panelized homes. Several years later, Peter and two partners purchased Norelco Cabinets after being a long-standing customer. Peter has now served as President of Norelco Cabinets since 2002 and has since grown a small cabinet manufacturing plant employing 20 people into a 60,000 square feet shop employing over 120 people.
Established in 1972, Norelco Cabinets has been designing and manufacturing superior residential cabinetry from our location in Kelowna, BC. To deliver on our promise to all customers, whether it’s for a renovation or a large-scale residential complex, we harness the talents of our award-winning team and European technology that’s given us a superior production process. We are proud to serve customers across the Okanagan, Western Canada, and for high-end luxury custom homes in the Western US and the Hawaiian Islands.
Peter’s professional and trade association activities have included BSDA, SICA, NKBA, and had previously been on the Board of Directors with CHBA and the Chamber of Commerce, and now serves as a Director on the Board for BC Wood.
On the weekends, you will either find Peter boating, camping, skiing or sledding with his family and friends, or cheering on his favourite sports teams, the Montreal Canadiens and the Seattle Seahawks.
