Pierre CHALIFOUR
Vice-Consul, Trade Commissioner

• Since July 2018, Pierre Chalifour was appointed to this position of Vice-Consul and looks over all consular aspects for Canadians who require consular help in four provinces of Germany (Nordrhein Westfalen, Hessen, Rheinland-Pflaz and Saarland).
• He is also a Trade Commissioner who covers the following sectors for Canada in Germany: Forestry and Wood Products, Infrastructure, and Oil and Gas
• Between 2013 and 2018, he occupied the position of Trade Commissioner at the EU-EFTA European Commercial Relations Division and Trade Commissioner for the North America Commercial Programs Division, at Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa, Canada.
• He holds a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies from Université de Montréal and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Laval University.
